In Rethymno, Greece, on June 30, 2023, three dynamic consortium members came together for a pivotal meeting. Metalaxis from the Czech Republic, ECTE – European Center in Training for Employment from Greece, and LDI from Germany converged to advance the Erasmus+ project “Re.Ma. Remote Management for SMEs”. Their mission? To equip SME managers with the skills needed for effective remote management strategies and tools.
During the meeting, the focus was on practical steps forward:
1. Developing a Curriculum with ECVET Procedures: The consortium worked on creating a curriculum that met the standards of the European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET). By doing so, they aimed to ensure that the curriculum would be relevant and high-quality across different educational settings. This curriculum would be the backbone of training for SME managers in remote management.
2. Crafting a MOOC in line with EQAVET: They also discussed the development of a Massive Online and Open Course (MOOC) aligned with the European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET) framework. This online course would provide flexible and accessible training resources for SME managers looking to upskill in remote management.
The meeting was characterized by collaboration and a shared sense of purpose. Each member brought their expertise to the table, contributing to a vibrant exchange of ideas.
As the meeting wrapped up, it was clear that progress was being made. The Erasmus+ project “Re.Ma. Remote Management for SMEs” was poised to make a meaningful impact on SME leadership development.
